Integrations

Mängda should fit the tools you already have. Not one of the links below can be switched on today — on any plan. This is what each one will do once it exists, and where it can be trusted to stop.

CAD-export

The measurements and the runs back out as a base drawing.

Will

  • Put what you have drawn in Mängda — pipe runs, chambers, areas — on a DWG or DXF layer.
  • Keep the scale from the drawing, so the measurements line up when the layer is laid over the original.
  • Name the layers by type of pipe run, so foul, surface and water can be turned off one at a time.

Will not

  • Read a DWG file in. Import is a job of its own and is not part of this — Mängda takes PDF and images.
  • Redraw the original drawing. The export is a layer on top, not a new drawing.
BIM-export

BIM-export

The quantities out to the model instead of to a spreadsheet.

Will

  • Write the quantities as IFC, so they can be read into the model along with the rest of the project.
  • Carry size, material and length on every line — the same figures as in the bill of quantities.

Will not

  • Build a 3D model for you. What is exported is quantities with properties, not geometry in three dimensions.
  • Replace a coordinated model. This is input to one, not one itself.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Accounts systemsUnder way now

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Quantities and quote lines straight on to the accounts system with no step in between.

Will

  • Send a finished quote to Business Central as a draft sales order.
  • Match your item numbers against the entries in the price list, so the rows land on the right item.
  • Let you read prices off Business Central instead of keeping two price lists.

Will not

  • Post anything to the accounts. The draft sits there until somebody at your end approves it.
  • Write back to Mängda. The flow goes one way — from take-off to accounts.
Microsoft Entra ID
SSOUnder way now

Microsoft Entra ID

Log in with the work account you already have.

Will

  • Let everybody at the firm log in with their Microsoft work account, with no separate password in Mängda.
  • Follow your MFA policy — the requirements are set in Entra, not here.
  • Take away access to Mängda when the account is shut off at your end.

Will not

  • Create seats for itself. A new login still needs a free seat on the licence.
  • Move your groups over to roles in Mängda automatically in the first version.
Google Workspace
SSONext release

Google Workspace

Log in with Google instead of a password.

Will

  • Let anybody with an address on your Workspace domain log in with Google.
  • Tie the login to an account that already exists, if the email address is the same.

Will not

  • Work with a private Gmail address as an organisation login — that needs a domain you own.
  • Read anything in your Google Drive or Gmail. Logging in is all it does.
Okta
SSOPlanned

Okta

Login for organisations that already run Okta.

Will

  • Take logins over SAML or OIDC from your Okta directory.
  • Let you control who reaches Mängda from Okta, the same as your other apps.

Will not

  • Provision accounts over SCIM in the first version. Seats are still handed out in Mängda.

Do you need a different link?

The order is decided by what you actually get stuck on, not by what looks good in a list. Get in touch and tell us which system the quantities have to go on to — that weighs heavier than anything we guess at.
