Hide what you do not want to see right now
Take finished layers off the screen without touching the quantities.
- 1
Select the row in Drawn and measured (“Ritat och mätt”)
Click the row for what you want out of the way. The row unfolds and shows the buttons for that particular thing.
- 2
Press Hide (“Göm”)
The thing disappears from the drawing. The row stays in the list, greyed out, with the button Show again (“Visa igen”).
- 3
Know that the quantity is still there
Hide (“Göm”) only changes what you see. What is hidden is still measured, still in the bill of quantities, still in the quote and still in every export. So it is not a way to remove something — Delete (“Ta bort”) does that.
- 4
Hide one thing at a time, not everything
It is per row on purpose. Blacking out the whole drawing also blacks out the layer you are drawing against, which was the thing you wanted to see.
- 5
Count on it staying that way
What you have hidden is saved with the project. Open the drawing tomorrow and it looks the way you left it, and the rows are still there greyed out in the list so you can find your way back to them.
- 6
Remember hidden things when you copy
The Copy (“Kopiera”) tool skips what is hidden, and says how many there were. If a hidden thing is to come along in the copy, press Show again (“Visa igen”) first.
